wolf hoodie costume

This was my attempt at the Martha Stewart wolf costume. I never realized how awesome hoodies could be for Halloween, and I'm anxious to get creative and make more in the future.

Not everyone (or anyone really) could tell that I was a wolf. One guy asked if I was a shark...a shark?...really??? and someone else asked, "uh...are you a weasel or something?" Getting closer, at least at that point we were talking about land animals with four legs.

My favorite is how it looks from behind when the hood is off my head. Makes me feel like Max. I tried to get mischievous like Max and peek over the fence to scare the neighbor's dog, but before I even got my head over the dog barked really loud and scared the bajeebies out of me. I'm not a very good wild thing yet.

  1. I love it. I would have guessed a Wolf first try. That is a great idea too, I never would have thought of something like that. I love new ideas for crafts! Thanks Michelle for your fun ideas.

  5. I think it's cute. People might have been confused about the wolf thing because, unlike wolves, you do not have a long, hairy, drool-ridden snout. Just something to think about. Happy Halloween!
