Notice the Moleskine notebook—it's the NYC Moleskine city notebook and it's amazing. Full of detailed maps and notes to write down your favorite finds/daily plans. Get one for whatever city you're visiting. Much less conspicuous than those oversized city metro maps.

Dear Thoroughly Modern Michelle: I am so glad you found the bakery where you can pick up your baked goods (I suggested a croissant, muffins work too). Now my mental picture is complete! Thank you for wearing a scarf for me as you strolled through the city. I will mention by name as the inspiration for my next novel ;)

Michelle, I so wished we hadn't missed eachother in NYC! ...just by a couple weeks. :( boo. It would've been fun to sip a warm somethin' & eat a muffin @ Crumbs Bake Shop w/you. Yes, I did notice the NYC Moleskine notebook— brilliant! I borrowed one from a friend while visiting-- truly made the experience much less conspicuous than those oversized & awkward city metro maps... ;) They have them for Seattle too! Make that your next stop! Looks like you're having a blast! Can't wait to see what comes of it. You're Amazing. xo
