many thanks
Earlier this week after a long day, I came home to find that the most lovely surprise had been delivered to my apartment. Someone had given me two hot chocolate mugs with beautiful flowers in them, a can of hot chocolate, and a very nice note. I have tried my best to figure out who did the kind deed but still have no clue. I wonder who knew that I was "overstressed, overworked, and underslept" this week? Whoever it was, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Oh, and don't the flowers look great in this little owl pitcher I picked up a few weeks ago? I took the flowers out of their mugs , and found that this mini pitcher is the perfect thing for a small bouquet. I love it!
"...when we speak of those who are instruments in the hand of God, we are reminded that not all angels are from the other side of the veil. Some of them we walk with and talk with—here, now, every day. Some of them reside in our own neighborhoods...Indeed heaven never seems closer than when we see the love of God manifested in the kindness and devotion of people so good and so pure that angelic is the only word that comes to mind." -Elder Holland

ReplyDeleteHow sweet! The flowers are beautiful and that pitcher is awesome. You now have partaken of the owl trend. I have yet to join, and I feel almost too late, but I like those birds!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture! I hope whoever gave you the flowers etc. reads your blog...they will be so happy!
