I've become attached to clutches the last little while, and was ecstatic to come across these handmade beauties from Plonka—the etsy shop by Norwegian creative genius and blogger, Dalinda! Her shop is full of fantastic things.

Dalinda has also been featured on Decor8 and happy living. Way to go! Who wouldn't want to blog about her?

My dear mom congratulated me with new clothes when I was accepted into the BFA program and she's been dying to see what I picked out. So here they are: a blouse from Anthropologie that was on sale, (still way too much but how could I resist) and adorable flats from Target. I suppose I justified the overpriced blouse with wonderfully priced shoes. Thank you mom!

amy makes me happy

Amy Butler is my idol. I have been buying her paper for a long time, but didn't realize she designed it until recently. When I looked her up I absolutely fell in love. She designs the most gorgeous patterns. So, I wanted to let you in on her great stuff just in case you haven't gotten acquainted yet. :) And if you like sewing, she shares lots of ideas on how to make pretty much anything you could ever want to make with pretty fabrics.

Have you seen this?? Keds now has a create-your-own-keds website! It is so much fun. You have got to try it. I was so excited about it I had to interrupt my portfolio postings to show you.

It lets you choose every detail on the shoe. Even the trim and stitching. And then it shows you the shoe from every angle possible.

But wait, it gets better: you can even upload your own personal designs to put on your shoe! (Which I have yet to attempt, but when I do you'll be the first to know.)

And, as if that wasn't incredible enough, you can then opt to "sell it to the public", to see if anyone wants to buy your design. And, if they do, you get money for it! How great is that? I love it. I have way more fun doing this than playing solitaire.

I found it!

Look! It's the interior of my house. I mean, a little bit of it. But I just love love love it. And when I found this somewhere on Apartment Therapy, I also discovered a great website called undrgrnd.com. It has cool deals that last only one day. Yes, the deals on this site are still pretty pricey from what I've seen, not exactly pocket change. But it could be worth looking at every once in a while if you can grab great stuff like this!

J.Crew seems to be as excited about gray and yellow as I am! Really, in their new arrivals they have this combo all over! It is absolutely delightful. Especially the yellow, which they have at least a little accessory of in many of the outfits.
